GRAMOFONO PORTATILE HMV (HIS MASTER'S VOICE) MODELLO 97C
You are bidding on a portable gramophone model 97D Serial No. 8/9 52291 "His Master's Voice" from circa 1950s. Manufactured by EMI Industries, formed by the merger of HMV and Columbia in 1936. This is one of the last models of gramophones made before their demise in the UK in the 1960s. The wooden case is in good condition and shows small signs of wear and the gramophone is missing the key - The fittings are chrome and the sound box is a Columbia No.15 "badge engineered", which was fitted to these machines and registered both HMV that Columbia.
