Valve PCL82
Zoccolo Noval, 9 pin miniature (USA pico-9) B9A Used for radio/TV reception etc. Filament Vf 16 Volt / If 0.3 Ampere / Indirect / Current specified AC/DC ~ = (Series operation) Description The PCL82 was designed for television purposes: the output section of power is used for vertical deflection and triode section as a block oscillator with peak current up to 100 mA! The PCL82 is also suitable as a preamplifier and AF output amplifier, although the triode section is greatly oversized for this application. As a valve for all currents (AC/DC), the PCL82 output section has been designed for an anodic and screen voltage of 170 V. It is also possible to operate at higher voltages, however a screen grid resistance is necessary, which worsens the operating characteristics. Despite this inconvenience, the PCL82 was often used as an AF tube because there were no alternatives until it was replaced by the PCL86.
