The Lambretta was undoubtedly one of the most popular means of transport of the fifties and sixties. A valid alternative to the car, it represented a faithful travel companion for hundreds of thousands of Italian families who were lucky enough to drive one for work or for fun. Together with the Vespa, the Lambretta monopolized the Italian scooter market and managed to gain a position thanks to its original technical characteristics and its exceptionally modern design. The ''Innocenti Lambretta'' volume by Vittorio Tessera reaches its third edition and is enriched with a photographic portfolio, all in colour, where rare period advertisements, company brochures but also film posters are reproduced which, in the golden years, saw the legendary and unforgettable Lambretta as the undisputed protagonist.
