Elisabetta and Paolo De Angelis - who have been importing juke boxes from the USA for years, restoring them and selling them - have written the book "Juke Boxes", one of the most complete and important existing texts on the history of the Juke Box . The book illustrates all the manufacturers starting with the history and continuing with the photographs and the technical data sheet of the juke boxes built by the company from 1938 to 1959, the most important historical period in the history of the juke box ( Wurlitzer , Seeburg , Rock-Ola, Ami , Packard, Mills, Evans, Filben, Aireon, Chantal, NSM).
The Book includes a CD recorded by the Foné record company, taken directly from the OLD Juke Boxes , with the legendary Neumann U 47 and U 48 tube microphones, used by the Beatles to record their records.
The book is in Italian and contains an introduction by four authoritative figures of Italian culture and entertainment: Renzo Arbore , Roberto D'Agostino , Ugo Nespolo and Antonio Ricci .
